Fiona David
Creator of the Walk Free Global Slavery Index, Fiona David has three decades of experience working internationally with UN organisations, development projects and governments to solve complex human rights challenges, particularly human trafficking and modern slavery.
Now the founder and CEO of sustainability consultancy Fair Futures, she advises high profile business and political leaders, peak industry bodies, multinational corporations, philanthropists, and NGOs on the practice of respecting human rights while meeting net zero targets.
Fiona is a Research Fellow at the Business and Human Rights Access to Justice Lab at Macquarie University, a member of the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures Regional Council for Asia Pacific, and Deputy Chair of ACCESS-NRI, Australia's national climate simulator.
