Gulardi Nurbintoro holds a Doctoral Degree in Juridical Science from the University of Virginia. He is an Indonesian diplomat, international law lecturer, and Research Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Ocean Policy at Universitas Indonesia. He has served as a Judicial Fellow at the International Court of Justice.
His research focuses on law of the sea, diplomatic law, and the law of treaties. He has published in the Indonesian Journal of International Law, Chinese Journal of International Law, and Australian Journal for Maritime and Ocean Affairs.
