Since 2001 has been vice president of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Yurgens also is Honorary Council General of Monaco in the Russian Federation.
Mr. Yurgens graduated from the Moscow State University. He has a PhD in Economics and is a professor at the Higher School of Economics.
Starting in 1974 he served in various positions with the international departments of the All-Nation Professional Unions Confederation and of the UNESCO Secretariat.
