Adnan Aamir is a journalist, researcher, and commentator based in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Adnan Aamir is a journalist, researcher, and commentator based in Islamabad, Pakistan. He covers politics, economy, development, conflict, and security. His area of focus includes the conflict and the Chinese projects in Pakistan. He has written for Nikkei Asia, Financial Times, South China Morning Post, Asia Times, China-US Focus, and Business Standard, among others.
Adnan is also the founder and Editor of Balochistan Voices, a community-based online newspaper covering the issues of Balochistan that are ignored by mainstream media. He has won eight journalism awards, including the Best in Business Award from the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, Association for Business Journalists (USA). Adnan was a Chevening South Asian Journalism Fellow in 2018 at the University of Westminster, London.
