Carolin Kautz holds a PhD in contemporary China studies with a political science focus from the University of Goettingen/Germany.
Carolin Kautz holds a PhD in contemporary China studies with a political science focus from the University of Goettingen/Germany. She is the founder and owner of SinoVise, a company that advises businesses on geopolitical risks in their China engagement.
Until 2022, she worked as a lecturer at the Department of East Asian Studies at Goettingen University and taught on Chinese domestic and foreign politics, society and economics. Additionally, she is now teaching casually at the University of New South Wales, among others on international relations, global politics and security. Her areas of expertise include Chinese foreign and domestic politics, including the Chinese Communist Party.
