Nick Savvides specialises in the container industry and maritime technology. He joined The Loadstar from Container News, where he was the managing editor. He was previously chief European correspondent of FreightWaves, markets and technical editor for Fairplay and editor of The Naval Architect, having also worked for Containerisation International’s news site, ci-online and International Freighting Weekly. In a 30-year career covering the maritime industry, Nick has built a reputation as a tenacious news journalist renowned for his ability to pursue off-diary stories that get to the heart of the matter.
