Cornelia Tremann

Based in Dakar, Dr Cornelia Tremann is an independent analyst and consultant and the Senegal Representative for the China Africa Advisory. She has worked for UNDP China as a policy analyst on the South-South policy team, as a Chinese economic diplomacy specialist at the US embassy in Beijing, and as a learning advisor at USAID Senegal. She is a UQ and LSE graduate, and has a PhD from SOAS that combines politics of development with China-Africa relations, using Chinese aid, trade, and investment in Madagascar as a case study.
