Nina Markovic Khaze

Dr Nina Markovic Khaze (PhD, MAIR-MDip, ANU; BA/Hons UWA) is the Chair of the European Studies Association of Australia and New Zealand (NSW/ACT Branch) and an Executive Board member of the Australasian Association for Communist and Post-Communist Studies (AACaPS). She has been working as a sessional academic at UNSW and Macquarie University since 2014, and prior to joining academia, as a Senior Researcher for Europe and Middle East at the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security section of the Parliamentary Library (2007–14). She provides weekly political commentary for SBS radio and has appeared as an expert commentator for European and Australasian affairs for local and international media.
