Bec Strating is the Director of the La Trobe Centre for Global Security and Professor of International Relations at La Trobe University.
Her research has focused on maritime disputes and Australian foreign policy. Her most recent book is Girt by Sea: Re-Imagining Australia's Security (Opens in new window), co-authored with Joanne Wallis.
