Taili Ni is a Research Associate in the Indo-Pacific Development Centre (Opens in new window) at the Lowy Institute, working on the Southeast Asia Aid Map (Opens in new window). Her work focuses on tracking and analysing foreign aid and development finance flows to Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining the Lowy Institute, Taili worked as a Senior Program Officer at the Asia Society Center on US–China Relations, and as Assistant Editor for the China Books Review. She has also worked on the Asia programs at the German Marshall Fund of the United States and the National Democratic Institute. She holds a master’s degree in international affairs from National Chengchi University in Taiwan, a bachelor’s in international political economy and Chinese language and culture from the University of Puget Sound, and is a Fulbright Taiwan alumna.
