Cate Carter

Cate Carter is a PhD Candidate in the field of Armed Forces and Society at Deakin University. She holds a Masters Degree in International Relations from the University Queensland and other degrees from the Australian National University and University of South Australia. Cate has been an Army officer for 25 years, working in Bougainville, Timor Leste and the United Nations Headquarters, and is currently the Managing Editor of the Australian Army Journal. Cate is also an out and proud viola player.
